Mama in New England

This is us, as I navigate motherhood and enjoy the amazing adventure.

We are a family of four, a cat and a dog, living outside Boston, Massachusetts. I started this blog as a way to update friends and family who are afar, but it seems to have become somewhat therapeutic & helps me laugh when I need to.

Socks

After we moved, I had no time to match socks up, so I started throwing them in a laundry basket after they were washed.  The kids would get their socks directly out of the laundry basket and often wear two unmatched socks.  The other day I finally thought of paying them to match them up, since I often ask them too and they do a few pairs and wander away.
I paid them a penny a pair and we got about forty pairs matched up in about 15 minutes.
