Day One at Home

School has been canceled for two weeks due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Sam was home the majority of the week with a stomach bug, so he had literally 3 hours of school this week.
I'm trying to keep the kids busy and not let them play with friends for at least five days.

By 8:45 am there had been two fights, one set of tears, and one sent to their room.
Lanie asked to watch a movie, I said no.
9:40 Jack puked on the white armchair. At least it wasn't a child.
Lanie asked to watch a movie, I said no.
At 10:00 we had "school." That last for two hours for the girls, Sam quit after an hour and fifteen minutes and lay on the floor under the table yelling about "how boring it all was."
That was fun.
Lanie asked to watch a show, I said no.

Sam got sent to his room for not finishing his school work. We had lunch and he reappeared.
Lanie asked to watch a movie, I said no.

A plumber unexpectedly arrived and we went outside and took the dog to the end of the block. We came back the plumber was gone. Jack ran onto the white couch with his muddy paws.

The plumber arrived back. The kids scotch taped their faces to look like pigs and took selfies and made short movies.
Lanie asked to watch tv, I said no.
Jack ate a small container of Vaseline.

I got zero work done for school and zero taxes done.
